‘Gen V’ Season 2 Drops Official Release Schedule
The second season of superhero series Gen V is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 17, 2025. Gen V is part of The Boys franchise and is based on the comic book story arc We Gotta Go Now by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
Amazon recently released an official release schedule for the season, giving fans the first look at when new episodes will arrive.

The main cast from the first season is back, including Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, and Asa Germann. Joining them this season is Hamish Linklater, who plays a new character, Dean Cipher, the dean of Godolkin University.
After the events of the fourth season of The Boys in 2024, Marie Moreau (played by Sinclair) and her friends return to Godolkin. They have endured months of hardship, and now a new dean is training Supes to become soldiers. On the edge of a war between humans and Supes, the group discovers a mysterious program that could change everything.
The season also brings back fan favorites from The Boys. Chace Crawford and Valorie Curry will reprise their roles as Kevin Moskowitz / The Deep and Misty Tucker Gray / Firecracker. Ethan Slater will appear in a recurring role as Thomas Godolkin, and Erin Moriarty and Nathan Mitchell will return as Annie January / Starlight and Black Noir II.
The season also introduces new faces, including Keeya King, Stephen Kalyn, Julia Knope, Stacey McGunnigle, Tait Fletcher, Wyatt Dorion, and Georgie Murphy.

The production of the season faced a pause in late March 2024 following the death of Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson. The cast was scheduled for table reads that same day, but filming was delayed. Production officially began in May 2024 and wrapped on October 31, 2024. The showrunners decided not to recast Perdomo’s character.
Fans can expect plenty of action, drama, and unexpected twists in Gen V season 2. With the official release schedule now available, viewers can mark their calendars and get ready for the return of the series and its complex, chaotic world of Supes and humans.
