A brand new trailer for Gen V Season 2 just dropped, and fans are already buzzing. Amazon Prime Video confirmed the show will be back on September 17, 2025. On that day, the first three episodes will be released, with new episodes coming out every week until the finale on October 22.

The second season picks up right after The Boys Season 4. Marie Moreau and her friends have returned to Godolkin University after a tough break, but things aren’t the same. There’s a new dean, played by Hamish Linklater, who is training the Supes to be soldiers. With a war between humans and Supes looming, the group uncovers a secret program that could change everything.

Most of the original cast is back, including Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, and Asa Germann. Newcomer Hamish Linklater joins as Dean Cipher. Fans will also spot guest stars Chace Crawford as The Deep and Valorie Curry as Firecracker, both from The Boys.

Sadly, Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson, won’t be part of this season. He passed away in March 2024, and Amazon Prime Video confirmed his character won’t be recast.

Filming started in May 2024 and wrapped up in October, though production was delayed after Perdomo’s passing. Hamish Linklater’s casting was officially announced in June 2024.

Michele Fazekas is now the sole showrunner for this season. Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, shared that Gen V season 2 will offer “the first glimpse into the new world that was created at the end of S4.”

The new trailer and poster suggest this season will be darker and raise the stakes even higher. Fans now have a clearer idea of where this wild superhero story is headed next.
