‘Gintama: The Final’ and ‘Gintama THE VERY FINAL’ Movies to Get Special 4DX Anniversary Screenings

Created by Hideaki Sorachi, Gintama is a series that has been loved because of its quirkiness as the fans of the series embraced the special tone of the series as a whole. And while it is not a hit such as Bleach, Naruto, or One Piece, Gintama is a series that has definitely left its mark on the history of manga and anime.

The anime adaptation was also quite popular and as you know, several movies were released. As part of the Gintama franchise’s 20th anniversary celebration, two of those movies are getting a special rerelease.

Namely, we are happy to confirm that Gintama: The Final and Gintam THE VERY FINAL are going to be rereleased this year, but with a special surprise.

The trailer doesn’t reveal much, but we can confirm that the two movies, released in 2013 and 2021 respectively, are getting a special 4DX rerelease as part of the celebration, which is definitely great news for Gintama fans. The movies are going to be rereleased in Japan during the summer and fall, respectively.

At this moment, details about the rerelease are scarce, as the trailer doesn’t reveal anything precise, but this is definitely great news and we will be following up on the release, so be sure to keep following us for more information.
