Guy Pearce Condemns Israeli Attacks on Palestinians in Strong Statement: ‘I’ve Never Been So Disgusted by a Group of People in My Life’

Australian actor Guy Pearce has spoken out sharply against Israeli actions in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, condemning the treatment of Palestinians as “shameful” and dehumanizing.

In a post on his X account, Pearce expressed outrage at the ongoing violence, saying, “I’ve never been so disgusted by a group of people in my life as I am by Israelis.” He went on to criticize Israel’s approach, adding, “Every day I witness their utter disregard and disdain for Palestinian life. It is shameful and sets humanity further backwards with every vile act like this.”

Alongside his statement, Pearce shared a video from Al Jazeera showing a 15-year-old Palestinian boy shot by Israeli forces in the West Bank. Reports indicate the teenager received no medical assistance after being wounded and later died.

Violence in the West Bank has intensified since October 7, 2023, when Israel began its military campaign on Gaza. Since then, both Israeli forces and settlers have killed hundreds of Palestinians in the occupied territory.

Pro-Palestinian protests have been ongoing in Australia, particularly in major cities like Sydney and Melbourne, reflecting rising public concern over the conflict.

Guy Pearce’s comments add to a growing chorus of voices calling attention to the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. His post highlights the frustration and outrage felt by many around the world in response to the recent escalation.
