Gwyneth Paltrow once spilled her heart during a very open interview about her past relationships. Speaking on the popular podcast Call Her Daddy, she shared personal details about her time with Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck, and the conversation quickly grabbed attention online.

The actress did not hold back when asked about her romantic history. During the interview, she was questioned about which of her former partners stood out more in intimate moments. She admitted the question was difficult, calling it “really hard.” Still, she gave a clear answer by describing the differences between the two.

Talking about Pitt, she said “Brad was like the sort of major chemistry, love of your life, kind of, at the time,” showing how strong their connection was back then. When speaking about Affleck, she took a different approach and said “Ben was, like, technically excellent.” She also laughed about how open the topic was, adding “I can’t believe my daughter’s listening to this.”

The discussion continued with a lighthearted game involving Pitt, Affleck, and her former husband Chris Martin. When it came to choosing a partner for marriage, she made it clear she would pick Martin again, saying “I would do that all again.” In the same game, she chose Pitt for a romantic scenario, while leaving Affleck as the final option, joking “Ben, yeah, god bless him.”

Paltrow also took time to reflect on her past with Pitt in a more serious way. She described their early relationship as intense, saying “major love at first sight, it was crazy.” However, she explained that she ended their engagement because she felt she was not ready at the time. Looking back, she said “I had a lot of development to do, looking back in hindsight.”

She added that understanding herself took years, explaining “I didn’t really even understand how to listen to my instincts and act from that place.” Despite how things ended, she spoke kindly about Pitt, saying “He’s a great guy. He’s wonderful, I really like him a lot.”

The interview, as shared by the podcast, shows a very direct and personal side of Paltrow. She spoke openly about love, growth, and past decisions, without trying to hide anything.

This kind of honesty is what keeps celebrity interviews interesting, but it also raises questions about how much should be shared. Some people enjoy these real moments, while others feel it crosses a line. What do you think about her comments? Do you like this level of openness, or do you think some topics should stay private?
