Hailee Steinfeld Pregnant: ‘Hawkeye’ Star and Josh Allen Expect First Baby
Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are expecting their first child, the couple announced recently.
The Hawkeye actress shared the news in her Substack newsletter, which featured a list of her 29 favorite moments from the past year in celebration of her 29th birthday. At the end of the post, Steinfeld included a video revealing her pregnancy.
In the clip, she posed in the snow showing her baby bump while Allen kissed her stomach. The couple could be seen smiling together, with Steinfeld wearing a fleece that read “mother,” and the video ended with them holding hands next to a small snowman.
The pair later shared the same video on Instagram, where Allen commented, “I love you ❤️.”
Steinfeld has previously spoken about her plans for a family. In a November interview with Bustle, she admitted she was ready to have children, saying, “Of course.”
She also described her marriage to Allen as life-changing and expressed her gratitude, adding, “I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world. Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”
The couple, both 29, started dating in 2023 and got married on May 31, 2025, in Santa Barbara, California. Steinfeld previously shared details of their wedding in her Beau Society newsletter, calling the weekend “magical.”
She described how she and Allen kept reliving memories from the celebration, “often through smiles, laughs and tears.” She added, “It felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue in Santa Barbara. Our family and friends coming together amplified it.”
This is the first child for both Steinfeld and Allen.
