Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are proving that even with some of the busiest schedules in entertainment and sports, there is always room to prioritize love. In a recent edition of her lifestyle newsletter, Beau Society, the 29-year-old actress opened up about the simple boundaries that keep her marriage strong.

Steinfeld, who married the Buffalo Bills quarterback in May 2025, revealed that their secret to staying connected isn’t found in grand gestures, but in the quiet moments they carve out for one another.

The Sinners star explained to her followers that they place a heavy focus on being truly present with each other. This intentionality manifests in two non-negotiable rules: weekly date nights and a strict “no-phones” policy for one hour at the end of every day.

While Steinfeld admitted the advice might seem a bit cliché, she emphasized that these small habits make an enormous difference in maintaining a healthy relationship while navigating their high-profile careers.

The couple is currently preparing for their biggest adventure yet, having announced in December 2025 that they are expecting their first child. Steinfeld recently debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 11.

On that same day, Allen was miles away leading his team to a gritty 27-24 playoff victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite the distance, Allen showed his support by sharing a photo of his wife’s maternity look on his Instagram Stories, punctuated with heart-eye emojis.

The start of this year has been a whirlwind for both stars. While Steinfeld’s film Sinners made history with 16 Academy Award nominations, Allen has been facing physical challenges on the field. On January 29, the quarterback revealed he had undergone surgery to repair a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot.

He had played through the injury for the final five games of the season, a feat his teammates described as a warrior performance. Allen expects to be fully recovered in time for spring workouts.

Hailee Steinfeld’s professional life is currently reaching new heights as she gears up for the 98th Academy Awards on March 15. Her role in Ryan Coogler’s horror-thriller Sinners alongside Michael B. Jordan has solidified her as a powerhouse in the industry.

Beyond the awards circuit, she is set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the highly anticipated Young Avengers, which is currently in development. Fans are also eagerly awaiting her return as the voice of Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is slated for a potential 2027 release.

Josh Allen is also entering a transformative era with the Buffalo Bills. Following the team’s divisional-round loss to the Denver Broncos, the organization promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach.

Allen has expressed strong support for the change, promising to hold himself to a higher standard as he approaches his 30th birthday this May. Between leading an NFL franchise and preparing for fatherhood, Allen recently shared that being a dad will be the most important thing he will ever do in his life.

Do you think Hailee Steinfeld’s “no-phones” rule is something more couples should adopt to stay present, or is it too difficult to maintain in today’s constant digital age? Share your thoughts in the comments.
