Haley Lu Richardson stole the show at the European premiere of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die on Friday night, February 13, during the 76th Berlinale International Film Festival at Berlin’s Zoo Palast. The 30-year-old actress wowed photographers and fans alike, not just with her striking outfit, but with a playful headstand she performed right on the red carpet. Her co-star Sam Rockwell looked mock-shocked as cameras clicked nonstop.

“I’m clearly the fun person in the group,” Richardson joked to reporters, showing that even with the serious plot of the film, she’s always ready to bring energy and humor to the set. She was joined by Zazie Beetz, Michael Peña, and director Gore Verbinski, all of whom seemed charmed by her antics.

Richardson’s look for the night was a mix of playful elegance and winter sophistication, perfectly suited for Berlin’s chilly February. Her style, combined with her infectious energy, made her one of the most photographed stars of the evening, with fans sharing the viral headstand across social media.

In Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, Richardson plays Ingrid, a bleach-blonde drifter with a quirky allergy to technology that plays a key role in the story. The film follows a man from the future, played by Rockwell, who takes over a Los Angeles diner to assemble a team capable of stopping a sentient AI apocalypse. Richardson described the script as “such a unique story, and working with Sam was just a masterclass every day,” speaking to Awards Radar before the premiere.

Richardson has had a busy start to 2026. She recently attended the Sundance Film Festival for the world premiere of Zi, a poetic sci-fi drama directed by Kogonada. This was her second collaboration with the filmmaker following Columbus, and critics are already praising her performance as a woman confronting her future self as an awards-season standout.

Whether performing daring stunts on the red carpet or taking on challenging indie roles, Richardson is proving herself to be one of Hollywood’s most versatile young actresses. Her ability to navigate big-budget genre films while continuing to work on artistic projects has earned her respect and attention across the industry.

“It was such a fun night, and the energy from everyone on set really carried through to Berlin,” she added, reflecting on the premiere.

Fans continue to celebrate Richardson’s fearless approach to both fashion and film, applauding her authenticity and charisma.
