Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart recently offered a rare look into their private world with a shared appearance at the Actor Awards. The longtime couple, known for avoiding the public eye, walked the red carpet together to celebrate Ford’s recognition as the recipient of the Life Achievement Award.

At 83, Ford maintained his distinguished presence in a classic black tuxedo, while Flockhart, 61, chose a sophisticated black one-shoulder gown. The dress featured elegant draping and ruching at the waist, which she paired with a blonde bob and glowing, natural makeup.

The evening was filled with visible affection between the pair, who have been married since 2010. In one standout moment, Flockhart was seen cupping her husband’s face, and when asked about the night, Ford simply stated that he finds joy in this experience.

Their relationship began after a meeting at the 2002 Golden Globes, an encounter Flockhart initially viewed with skepticism. Growing up in a small town without a local cinema, she hadn’t actually seen the films that made Ford a household name.

She jokingly recalled her first impression of the Hollywood icon as a lascivious old man who had appeared at her table. Flockhart admitted she was being a smartass during that first meeting, unaware of the legendary status of the man approaching her.

To ensure she felt comfortable on their first date, she even invited her Ally McBeal co-star James Marsden to tag along. Marsden has since joked that he was the harbinger of a wonderful long relationship and deserves credit for the couple’s two-decade success.

Despite their 22-year age gap, the couple has built a grounded life divided between their homes in Los Angeles and Wyoming. They have consistently prioritized their family and their son, Liam, over the constant noise of the film industry.
