The Dark Side is here to stay! It was just confirmed that Hayden Christensen is set to reprise the role of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in the Disney+ Star Wars series Ahsoka, in which the titular role will be played by Rosario Dawson.
Christensen debuted as Anakin back in 2002 in Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and reprised the role in the 2005 Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Last year it was confirmed that he’ll return to the show Obi-Wan starring Ewan McGregor, so Ahsoka will be his fourth official Star Wars project, although he also had a vocal cameo in the 2019 movie The Rise of Skywalker.
Although he earned the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actor in both Episode II and Episode III, he’s still remembered by the fans, particularly because of the iconic lightsabers battle against McGregor’s Obi-Wan from Revenge of the Sith.
Ahsoka is limited series is written by Dave Filoni. The series was announced last December. The production is set to begin next year.
