‘Hello Kitty Island Adventure’ Gets a Cool New Update Trailer: “Friends, Furniture, and Frozen Peaks”

Sunblink has announced that Hello Kitty Island Adventure will be receiving its first major content update. Titled “Friends, Furniture, and Frozen Peaks,” the update is set to release on May 22, 2025.

This update will introduce exciting new features and areas to explore, including expansions to the snowy Icy Peak region. Players can look forward to visiting Blizzard Peak and Snow Village, where they can experience fresh weather patterns, discover new flowers, and enjoy a range of new stories and cosmetic items.

The update will also add fan-requested features like Furniture Stacking and the ability to call friends from anywhere.

The new content will be available for free to all players, so everyone can jump in and start exploring the additions right away.

One of the key improvements in this update is the enhanced gifting system. Now, giving a gift with more hearts will result in a bigger friendship boost. This means players can focus on crafting the best gifts to strengthen their friendships faster.

The Furniture Stacking feature will allow players to place multiple items on tables, mannequins, and even on top of other furniture. Rugs can also be placed on floors, adding more customization options when decorating cabins.

To make gameplay more convenient, the update introduces an item overflow system. Items and pick-ups will now accumulate over three days, giving players more flexibility in collecting resources.

The update also brings new areas to explore. Players will be able to visit Blizzard Peak and Snow Village, discovering new parts of Icy Peak and encountering a quirky weather contraption. Additionally, they will find new puzzles in the frosty Chilly Chambers, which will require some clever thinking and a bit of pushing to solve.

A new feature called “Sparkles” will also make its debut. These special items will appear around the island at their own pace. Players can collect and exchange Sparkles for game tickets, allowing them to participate in mini-games without having to wait for resets.

Gardening enthusiasts will be thrilled with the introduction of new flowers. Roseanne will help players grow the fluffiest, puffiest flowers, while Nina will guide them through planting in more challenging environments on Friendship Island. These new flowers will not only look great but also unlock special effects to make gardens even more beautiful.

Players will also have the chance to win new floral-themed furniture by playing the Crane Game. The Merry Meadows furniture set will add a touch of natural beauty to any cabin.

One of the most anticipated additions is the Call Friend feature, which will allow players to connect with their Sanrio friends from anywhere on the island. This new function will make it easier to explore and complete quests together.

New characters will also be making their way to Friendship Island. Retsuko’s friends and co-workers, as well as Pekkle and Keroppi’s buddies, will arrive for a well-deserved vacation. Players will also be able to set up cabins for Hello Kitty’s grandparents, adding more variety to the island’s community.

There will be plenty of new quests and stories to discover as well. Players will get to find out who becomes the Island Champion, how Retsuko balances work and relaxation, and whether Pochacco’s workout outfit is cuter than Badtz-maru’s superhero costume. The update promises dozens of new stories and quests to keep players entertained.
