Henry Cavill, best known for the role of Clark Kent/Superman and Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher on Netflix, revealed that she would love to be part of Marvel Cinematic Universe, praising its actors and saying which character he would like to play.
“I’m never going to say a Marvel character that is already being played by someone else because everyone’s doing such an amazing job. However, I have the internet and I have seen the various rumors about Captain Britain and that would be loads of fun to do a cool, modernized version of that — like the way they modernized Captain America. There’s something fun about that, and I do love being British.”

President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige said there’s always been a talk to bring Captain Britain into MCU, but they’re obviously still waiting for the right moment. Could Henry Cavill be the right choice for the role?
Captain Britain, real name Brian Braddock, debuted in comic books in 1976. The character was initially introduced exclusively for the British comic books market. Although he seems only like a mere British version of Captain America, his origin story is a bit different. He got his extraordinary powers thanks to legendary magician Merlyn and his daughter Roma. Except for enhanced strength, speed, and endurance, his powers also include force fields, energy beams, and flight. If Cavill would be cast as Captain Britain, his experience from DCEU would probably help him a lot to get into the character.
The Witcher Season 2, starring Cavill, will debut next month on Netflix, and Season 3 will begin filming next year. He’s also set to reprise the role of Sherlock Holmes in the sequel of Enola Holmes. He will also star in Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle. Also, many rumors are tying him as Daniel Craig’s successor as James Bond, although nothing is legit about those rumors yet.
