Arriving on Apple TV+ on Thursday August 21. This neo noir dark comedy follows private investigator Honey O’Donahue as she looks into a suspicious death that pulls her into the orbit of a fervent religious group in Bakersfield California. The film stars Margaret Qualley as Honey O’Donahue with Aubrey Plaza as MG Falcone and Chris Evans as Reverend Drew Devlin. Supporting players include Charlie Day Kristen Connolly Gabby Beans and Talia Ryder.

The movie is directed by Ethan Coen and co written with Tricia Cooke. Ari Wegner serves as cinematographer and Carter Burwell provides the score. The production comes from Working Title Films with Ethan Coen Tricia Cooke and Robert Graf among the producers.

Landing on Apple TV+ on Friday August 22. This science fiction drama tracks a global alien incursion through stories set in the United States the United Kingdom Japan and beyond following civilians and soldiers whose lives intertwine as the threat escalates. Key characters include Aneesha Malik played by Golshifteh Farahani Mitsuki Yamato played by Shioli Kutsuna and Trevante Cole played by Shamier Anderson with India Brown Billy Barratt and Enver Gjokaj among the ensemble.

The series is created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil who executive produce with Audrey Chon and others. Episodes are directed by a rotating group of filmmakers and the production is known for large scale visual effects and a character driven approach that develops across multiple locations as the invasion intensifies.

Streaming on Peacock starting Wednesday August 20. This four episode music and conversation series features Kelly Clarkson in intimate sessions with major artists who perform stripped back songs and share the personal stories behind them. Guests across the run include the Jonas Brothers Gloria Estefan Teddy Swims and Lizzo with each hour focusing on a single act in a small stage setting.

The special event series expands the fan favorite segment from the daytime series ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’. Episodes air on NBC on Tuesdays and stream on Peacock the following day which means the first episode is available to stream on Wednesday August 20 with remaining episodes arriving weekly after their NBC broadcasts.

This animated adventure begins when a meteor borne contagion turns zoo animals into ravenous mutants and a band of unlikely survivors must navigate the enclosures to make it out alive. Voices include David Harbour Scott Thompson Paul Sun Hyung Lee and Gabbi Kosmidis with a menagerie of characters caught between chaos and comedy as the outbreak spreads.

The film is directed by Rodrigo Perez Castro and Ricardo Curtis from a screenplay by James Kee and Steven Hoban based on a concept from Clive Barker. The production involves international animation partners with a runtime designed for a punchy family movie night that blends spooky thrills with broad humor.

Streaming on Peacock on Sunday August 24. This techno horror hit follows a roboticist who pairs her grieving niece with an experimental life sized companion doll named M3GAN only for the artificial intelligence to evolve in dangerous ways that spiral beyond its safety protocols. The cast features Allison Williams Violet McGraw Ronny Chieng with Amie Donald as the physical performer for M3GAN and Jenna Davis as the voice.

The movie is directed by Gerard Johnstone from a screenplay by Akela Cooper based on a story by Cooper and James Wan. It is produced by Jason Blum and James Wan under the Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster banners with a lean budget and a strong box office performance that spawned a sequel.

Arriving on Paramount+ on Wednesday August 20. This ongoing reality series follows young mothers in Britain as they navigate parenting relationships education and work with cameras capturing both milestones and challenges at home and within their communities. The show has featured cast members such as Amber Butler Megan Salmon Ferrari Chloe Patton Mia Boardman Sassi Simmonds and others across its run.

The series is produced by True North Productions as a United Kingdom counterpart to the long running American franchise ‘Teen Mom’. Episodes are structured around the day to day lives of the cast with interviews and observational footage that document changing family dynamics over time.

Episodes mix sing along moments with simple problem solving stories aimed at very young viewers.

The series is developed by Whitney Ralls Gary Doodles DiRaffaele and Tommy Sica based on Pinkfong’s global brand. Voices include Kimiko Glenn as Baby Shark Luke Youngblood as William Natasha Rothwell as Mommy Shark Eric Edelstein as Daddy Shark Debra Wilson as Grandma Shark and Patrick Warburton as Grandpa Shark with production by Nickelodeon Animation Studio and The Pinkfong Company.
