Entertainment Force

Set for Wednesday, October 8 on Disney+, this sequel series follows Justin Russo—now living as a non-magical adult with his wife Giada and sons Roman and Milo—who’s pulled back into wizarding when his sister Alex asks him to mentor Billie, a powerful young wizard-in-training. Created from characters by Todd J. Greenwald and developed by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, the show features David Henrie as Justin, Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Mimi Gianopulos as Giada, Alkaio Thiele as Roman, and Max Matenko as Milo, with Selena Gomez returning as Alex Russo in guest appearances. The season’s storyline centers on Justin training three young wizards for a new Family Wizard Competition as a larger threat brews in the background.

Behind the camera, Elinoff and Thomas executive produce alongside Selena Gomez and David Henrie, with Andy Fickman directing episodes; production companies include It’s a Laugh Productions and July Moon Productions. Season 2 expands the mentor-and-apprentice premise into a family challenge while keeping ties to the original series’ lore and characters.

‘Halloween Baking Championship’ (2015)

Food Network

Arriving Saturday, October 11 on Disney+, this seasonal competition gathers skilled bakers for spooky-themed challenges judged on flavor, technique, and presentation. The series is hosted by John Henson, with judges Carla Hall, Zac Young, and Stephanie Boswell evaluating contestants’ confections across multiple rounds that culminate in eliminations and a cash prize. Originating on Food Network in 2015, the format has evolved with elaborate haunted-house sets and twist rounds designed to test creativity under pressure.

Across its many seasons, the show has featured rotating hosts and judges, with the current core lineup—Henson, Hall, Young, and Boswell—presiding over signature “trick or treat” briefs, sugar-work requirements, and multi-tier showpieces. The new run continues the focus on high-concept Halloween storytelling through pastry, cakes, and plated desserts.

‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ (2025)

Studio Ramsay Global

Premiering Friday, October 10 on Apple TV+, this eight-episode documentary series goes inside the high-stakes world of the Michelin Guide as chefs try to earn, keep, or regain stars in cities across the U.S. and Europe. Hosted by food journalist and Topjaw co-founder Jesse Burgess, the show includes rare on-the-record access to Michelin’s anonymous inspectors and follows restaurants in hubs like New York, Chicago, the Nordics, the U.K., Mexico, Italy, and California through a full Michelin season. The series is produced by Studio Ramsay Global and executive produced by Gordon Ramsay, Lisa Edwards, and Morgan Roberts.

Apple TV+ lists the series as a 2025 documentary with Burgess fronting the action; promotional materials highlight featured restaurants such as Coqodaq, The Musket Room, Nōksu, Esmé, Feld, Cariño, Aure, Jordnær, Knystaforsen, Caractère, House, Wilsons, Em, Máximo, Agriturismo Ferdy, Kresios, Harbor House, Pasjoli, and Pasta|Bar.

‘The Last Frontier’ (2025)

Apple Studios

Also landing Friday, October 10 on Apple TV+, this thriller drama from creators Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio follows a U.S. Marshal in remote Alaska who must protect his town after a plane crash frees multiple dangerous fugitives. The cast includes Jason Clarke as Frank Remnick, Dominic Cooper as Havlock, Haley Bennett as Sidney, Simone Kessell as Sarah Remnick, Tait Blum, Dallas Goldtooth, and Alfre Woodard. The series blends survival stakes with a manhunt narrative across harsh, rural terrain.

Executive producers include Bokenkamp, D’Ovidio, Laura Benson, Sam Hargrave, Glenn Kessler, Albert Kim, and Jason Clarke, with Apple Studios producing. Character details and the Alaska setting frame the show as a contained, community-under-siege story in which the Marshal navigates personal ties and tactical decisions as the fugitives exploit the wilderness.
