Hilarious Clips from Unfinished ‘A Minecraft Movie’ Leak Online and the Fans Are Loving Them

Despite the relatively lukewarm reception (and that’s a big euphemism in some cases), A Minecraft Movie is going exceptionally well at the box office. According to the official numbers by Box Office Mojo, the film has so far earned $301,000,000 globally, bringing it very close to breaking even after just one weekend.

And while the actual reactions are divided – with some praising the movie as fun and hilarious, while others are saying it has completely missed its mark – the fans are also able to enjoy a strong marketing campaign that made the movie feel almost omnipresent.

The thing we are reporting on here is probably not related to the official marketing campaign but it is nevertheless a hilarious way to make the movie more present, so we wanted to share it with you.

If you’ve seen at least the trailer for the movie (not even the actual movie), you could have seen that A Minecraft Movie relies heavily on CGI, which is expected knowing the nature of the movie.

And while the CGI in the movie is actually quite good, you probably know that the whole process of getting there was much less beautiful and that the pre-production CGI was very… tacky. But that is something that every movie CGI goes through.

And while we generally don’t see these videos, two hilarious unfinished videos from the movie have appeared online and we’d like to share them with you here:
