Hilary Duff is back in the spotlight as the March 2026 cover star of Gay Times Magazine. The pop star is using the feature to celebrate her support for the LGBTQIA+ community and to hint at a big musical return.

In the photos, Duff embraces bold, colorful fashion that reflects her journey from a Disney teen star to a confident, seasoned performer. She also revisits a moment from 2008 when she appeared in an anti-bullying PSA confronting teens for using the word gay as an insult. “That commercial was such a specific moment in time, and I’m so proud that it helped change the conversation for a whole generation,” she said in the interview.

Duff discussed the importance of being an ally and using her platform to push for equality. “It’s about showing up and listening, but also knowing when to speak up and use your voice to push for real change,” she added.

She also teased joining the judges’ panel for the popular drag competition series, saying, “The Drag Race judges’ table is finally calling my name, and I honestly can’t wait to see all that charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent in person.”

2026 is shaping up to be a major year for Duff. She recently released her sixth studio album, “luck… or something,” her first full-length project since 2015. The album features singles like “Mature,” “Roommates,” and “Weather for Tennis,” showing a more reflective and evolved sound.

To promote the album, she will embark on “The Lucky Me Tour,” starting June 22 in Florida, with dates across North America, Europe, and Australia. La Roux and Lauren Spencer Smith will join her on tour.
