‘His & Hers’ Trailer: Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal Star in Thriller of Secrets
Netflix has released the first trailer for His & Hers, an upcoming mystery thriller limited series set to premiere on January 8, 2026. The show is an adaptation of Alice Feeney’s 2020 novel of the same name.
The series stars Tessa Thompson as Anna, a news anchor, and Jon Bernthal as Detective Jack Harper. The story follows the two as they investigate a murder, but their search for the truth quickly puts them at odds. In the trailer, Jack insists he had nothing to do with the victim’s death, while Anna’s narration hints at hidden secrets. “There’s always more than one side to the story. Someone has to be lying,” she says.

The cast also includes Pablo Schreiber as Richard, Crystal Fox as Anna’s mother Alice, Sunita Mani as Priya, and Rebecca Rittenhouse as Lexy. Thompson not only stars but also serves as an executive producer. In September 2024, the main cast was announced, with additional recurring roles revealed the following month.
Filming took place in Atlanta, Georgia, starting on September 24, 2024, and continued into December. The series will consist of a limited number of episodes, with the story building toward a suspenseful conclusion.
