Hocus Pocus 2: Cast And Release Date Officially Announced By Disney+

Original Hocus Pocus movie was released in 1993 with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters. Although it received mixed reviews and was a commercial failure at the time of its release, it grew to be a classic thanks to the annual airings on Disney Channel.
Now, the sequel is in development with the original trio coming back, joined by the new faces. Disney also announced the rest of the cast: Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Doug Jones, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Henderson, and Nina Kitchen. Apart from the original trio of witches, only Doug Jones is a returning star from the original movie.
Written by Jen D’Angelo and directed by Anne Fletcher, Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in Fall 2022. Probably just in time for the next Halloween. The movie is written by Jen D’Angelo and directed by Anne Fletcher
