Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Make Red Carpet Debut as a Couple at ‘Song Sung Blue’ Premiere

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster made their official red carpet debut as a couple over the weekend.

The two actors, who have known each other for years through Broadway circles, attended the AFI Fest premiere of Jackman’s new film, Song Sung Blue, on Sunday, October 26, at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

Although Jackman and Foster appeared on red carpets together in the past while starring in Broadway’s The Music Man, this is their first public appearance as a couple since confirming their relationship in January. Jackman, 57, was joined by Foster, 50, and the pair looked happy walking side by side for the cameras.

The relationship between Jackman and Foster has been a long journey.

They first met in theater circles back in 2008 and began working together more closely in 2021, which helped them build a strong friendship. Over time, that friendship turned into romance. Their relationship became public earlier this year, after both actors ended their previous marriages.

Jackman was married to Deborra-Lee Furness for nearly three decades before their separation in September 2023. The couple officially divorced in June 2025. Jackman and Furness share two adopted children, following miscarriages, and the family had lived together in New York City.

According to reports, Jackman and Foster were first spotted out together in January 2025, marking the beginning of their public romance. “Several outlets report that Sutton and Jackman are officially dating following months of rumors that the two had been having an affair,” sources said at the time.

Their appearance at the Song Sung Blue premiere highlights a new chapter for both stars, and fans were quick to notice their chemistry on the red carpet. Jackman and Foster’s journey from longtime friends to a public couple has captured the attention of both theater and film audiences alike.
