‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the latest MCU installment, continuously breaking box office records and delighting fans worldwide. Much of its success stems from fan service, as the movie not only marks the return of Marvel’s iconic live-action characters but also features numerous Deadpool and Wolverine variants.

Early in the film, Deadpool embarks on a quest to find THE Wolverine. The Wolverine from his reality, Earth-10005, died during the events of ‘Logan,’ leaving Deadpool desperate to cross time and space in search of another Wolverine who could prevent his reality from unraveling.

Before Deadpool found the variant he needed, he encountered some epic (and hilarious) versions of Wolverine. The movie featured Old Man Logan, Age of Apocalypse Wolverine, the Cavillerine, and even a Short King Wolverine.

If you’re not aware, Hugh Jackman’s casting as Wolverine initially sparked backlash because fans were unhappy with his height—Wolverine is 5’3″ in the comics, while Jackman stands at 6’2″. The movie playfully addressed this long-standing debate by introducing a Short King Wolverine variant.

However, most fans assumed that the Short King Wolverine was just Hugh Jackman with CGI effects—turns out, he isn’t. It’s actually a different actor, and fans went wild when they found out!
