Jennifer Lopez has never been one to play it safe on a fashion stage, and her latest sheer lace dress moment in Milan proves she has no plans to start now. The singer and actress has spent Milan Fashion Week delivering look after look, turning the Italian city into her personal runway.

Her history with daring Milan fashion runs deep. Lopez famously modeled a reimagined version of her iconic green Versace dress at the brand’s Spring 2020 show during Milan Fashion Week. This season, however, her loyalty has belonged firmly to Dolce & Gabbana.

The latest chapter came on Saturday, and it was a tale of 2 very different looks. Lopez first arrived at the Dolce & Gabbana show in a tailored three-piece suit with a waistcoat, white collared shirt, black tie, and a baker boy hat. Later that evening, she completely transformed for the brand’s afterparty, stepping out in a sheer lace dress layered with a black fur coat.

The evening look was undeniably bold. As Croatia’s Index.hr noted, the 57-year-old wore only a thong beneath the completely transparent lace creation. The black fur coat draped over her shoulders added both drama and coverage up top.

She finished the ensemble with a pair of barely-there heels, while a matching necklace and earring set gave her a pop of colour. Photos from the arrival show the jewelry glinting in rich green tones against the all-black palette.

Lopez wasn’t the only guest turning heads. She joined Lady Kitty Spencer, Brooks Nader and other celebrity guests who arrived in bold looks of their own. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were also seen arriving at the party.

Spencer, the niece of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, showed off her figure in a plunging lace midi dress. Nader, 29, opted for a low-cut little black dress, keeping the evening’s daring dress code alive.

The afterparty capped off a remarkable run for Lopez in the city. Earlier in the week, she took part in Vogue World: Milano at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, sitting front row with Dolce and Gabbana before joining the show in a black tea-length dress featuring a tulle ball skirt with lace and beaded details. That look also came with long sheer gloves and classic black stiletto heels.

She also brought out her wild side along the way. After walking for Vogue World Milano on September 22, Lopez stepped out in a head-to-toe leopard-print look, pairing a Dolce & Gabbana coat with a micro miniskirt. Her longtime stylists, Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi, were behind the ensemble.

The daytime suit look sparked conversation too. Vogue Italia caught up with Lopez as she arrived at the show, capturing her reaction in a quick video interview shared to Instagram. The velvet tailoring, bold newsboy-style cap and statement jewels put her curves front and center.

Online, the response to her Milan run has been overwhelmingly positive. Following her Vogue World appearance, fans flooded her with compliments, calling her an absolute icon and saying she’d blown up the internet again. Her mix of black lace, dramatic silhouettes and daring necklines made her one of the most talked-about stars of the week.

With Milan Fashion Week set to wrap up on Monday, September 28, as Emporio Armani and Bottega Veneta prepare to unveil their Spring/Summer 2027 collections, Lopez has already secured her place as one of the season’s defining style stars.
