Although we’ll need to wait for Indiana Jones’ return a bit longer than expected after Disney yesterday delayed the fifth movie in the franchise to summer 2023, production is still ongoing. Last June, Harrison Ford injured his shoulder which caused another production delay. But thankfully, now he’s fully recovered and ready to go back to work as we can see from JustJared’s new images from the set.
On the set images we can see the legendary 79-year-old actor with his fellow co-stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Antonio Banderas.
The untitled fifth Indiana Jones movie was originally announced back in 2016, with a release date set for July 2019. Now we’re in 2021, and the movie is set to be released in June 2023. Let’s hope there won’t be any more delays.
Indiana Jones 5 is directed by James Mangold and produced by Steven Spielberg and LucasFilm’s Kathleen Kennedy.
