Intertwined Season 2 Release Date: Did Disney Renew It?

Intertwined, originally titled Entrelazados, is an Argentinian comedy-drama-fantasy-musical TV series for kids, tweens, and teens. Many fans enjoyed the first season of the show so much due to its upbeat and endearing nature. Seeing that the first season premiered back in 2021, fans wondered, when is Intertwined Season 2 coming out? Did Disney renew it?
Disney has renewed Intertwined for another season, as they announced on May 2, 2022. Intertwined Season 2 will be released sometime in 2023. Additionally, it was announced that Intertwined will also have a Season 3, which will arrive in 2024.
As for the details about Season 2, not much has been revealed. However, we can pick up on some things from Season 1, and other pieces of information to get us excited for the new season. Without further ado, here’s everything we know about Intertwined Season 2.
Did Disney renew Intertwined for Season 2?
After Intertwined premiered in November 2021, there was no news about the show for about half a year. But then, to the joy of many fans, Disney announced that the show will be renewed for another season. The news broke out on May 2, 2022, with a funny, witty Instagram post that included many cast members from the show:
And, that’s not even all of it! According to some sources, by June 2022, Disney has already announced plans for a third season of the show. It’s incredible news for the fans of the show.
Intertwined Season 2: Release Date
Unfortunately, there is still no set release date for Intertwined Season 2. When the news about the renewal of the show for a second season came out in May 2022, fans speculated the show could very well premiere somewhere in late 2022. The first season premiered in November 2021, so it would’ve made sense that the second season comes out around the same time.
However, the premiere of the second season was pushed, and we will likely see it premiere on the platform sometime in early 2023. At least, that’s what the show’s IMDb page suggests.
That being said, we can’t possibly know when Season 3 will premiere. However, if we’re judging by the interval between the first two seasons, we can expect the third season of Intertwined to premiere somewhere in early-to-mid 2024.
Intertwined Season 2: Plot
Interestingly, the finale of Season 1 wasn’t as ambiguous and open-ended as you might think. It was pretty much a happy ending, with everyone thinking the show has reached its end. However, seeing that the show was eventually renewed for another season, the writers clearly have intentions of picking up where they left off. So, what might happen in Season 2?
Well, we can only speculate at this point. For instance, Marco might travel forward in time to 2021 to be with Allegra and have a hard time deciding if he wants to stay in the future or go back to his time in the 1990s.
Meanwhile, Allegra, Caterina, and Coco will probably face difficulties and challenges in both their private lives, and their musical theater careers. I would love to see more about the bracelet itself to learn its origins, but we’ll have to wait and see what the creators had in mind.
