Is Deadpool Crashing ‘Avengers: Doomsday’? A Mysterious Auction Listing Has Fans Talking
Few questions have fueled as much Marvel speculation as who else might show up in the next Avengers crossover. Now, a surprising new clue about Deadpool in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has surfaced from an unlikely place, and it didn’t come from a trailer or a set photo.
The timing couldn’t be more interesting. Co-director Anthony Russo recently admitted that the film’s full cast still hasn’t been revealed, and fans have been wondering whether characters like Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine or Tom Holland’s Spider-Man could join the already massive lineup.
Now, an alleged costume prop tied to the Merc with a Mouth has appeared online. PROPDOMAIN has listed an item on iCollector described as an ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Deadpool prototype suit fabric panel, categorized as a movie prop with an estimated value of $300 to $400.
The listing doesn’t claim too much, though. “It is still unsure if DEADPOOL is in DOOMSDAY, but this is a solid clue!” the auction listing on iCollector reads, openly admitting the connection remains unconfirmed.
Bidding for the lot started at just $10, and the current bid has already climbed to $95. The live online auction is scheduled to begin on October 3, and interested collectors can even inspect specific items in person by appointment at the auction location in Reseda, California.

Deadpool isn’t the only character linked to the auction. A second lot is described as a large prototype suit fabric panel connected to Magneto, carrying the same $300 to $400 estimate.
That listing also started at $10 and currently sits at a $40 bid. Like the Deadpool piece, its description doesn’t provide production details confirming the material was actually used for the movie, so both lots should be treated as unverified.
The auction house has also drawn attention for another Marvel-related listing. A scrapped black suit tied to ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has surfaced for bidding on iCollector as well.

As the images spread across social media, not everyone was sold on the Deadpool connection. Some fans replying to the viral post argued the fabric looked more like it belonged to Daredevil, while others suggested it resembled Shang-Chi’s suit instead.
That skepticism is understandable. Without official confirmation from Marvel, a fabric panel alone can’t prove that Deadpool is part of the story, even if the listing’s title makes the connection directly.
Even without Deadpool, the confirmed cast is enormous. Robert Downey Jr. plays Victor Von Doom, while Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Simu Liu, and Tom Hiddleston are among the returning stars, along with the Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts, and most of the original Fox-era X-Men.
The presence of those X-Men characters is part of why fans are so curious about the listing. If Magneto and his fellow mutants are in the mix, a Deadpool appearance wouldn’t feel entirely out of place.
Russo has only added to the intrigue by admitting he sometimes gets confused about who has and hasn’t been announced. He and his brother Joe are still finishing the film, which means more surprises could be revealed before release.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ arrives in theaters on December 18. Until then, fans will have to decide for themselves whether a humble fabric panel is a genuine hint or just a clever sales pitch.
