Another woman accused him of statutory rape, saying she was 17 at the time in California, where the age of consent is 18.

One particularly striking account involves a much younger alleged victim. A woman in the report described an incident at a music festival where Leto allegedly made an inappropriate sexual remark to her when she was just 14 years old, reportedly in front of her mother, who confronted him about it. BBC investigators say they reviewed photos and messages that corroborate multiple women’s accounts, along with a non disclosure agreement Leto allegedly sent to one accuser.

Leto has firmly rejected every allegation laid out in the documentary. He maintains that he has never sexually assaulted anyone and has called the claims categorically untrue, echoing the same denials his representatives issued when the Air Mail allegations surfaced. A spokesperson for the actor similarly called last year’s accusations demonstrably false.
