Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck Team Up for Surprise Dunkin’ Donuts Ad
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston have officially teamed up for a new Dunkin’ commercial ahead of Super Bowl LX, but the star-studded spot is already drawing mixed reviews from confused fans.
In the clip, Affleck approaches Aniston with the kind of manic energy fans have come to expect from his Dunkin’ cinematic universe. Jen, Matt I got a pitch for you. What’s old is new, what’s cringe is good what’s up is down we’re sitting on a gold mine, he tells her, referencing a movie idea that prominently features “Duncan” of Dunkin’ Donuts. He proceeds to claim the concept is the pinnacle of their careers, lamenting that every other studio refused to listen to his “artistic” genius.
The humor takes a surreal turn when Affleck breaks into a sing-song rendition of the viral “six-seven” meme, a moment clearly designed to appeal to the “algorithm” and Gen Z viewers.
However, the online reaction has been largely lukewarm, with many viewers struggling to find the punchline. I don’t get it, is it supposed to be meta or just weird? one user commented, while others pointed out a strange directorial choice, Aniston is primarily seen from the back of her head, leading some to speculate if a body double was used for portions of the shoot.

Ben Affleck has been incredibly busy behind the scenes lately, having recently wrapped production on the Netflix crime thriller The Rip, which he stars in alongside his longtime best friend Matt Damon. Beyond acting, Affleck continues to lead Artists Equity, the production company he co-founded to provide more equitable pay for artists in Hollywood.
Jennifer Aniston is also navigating a packed 2026 schedule, centered primarily on her “biggest transformation yet” for Apple TV+. She is currently prepping to star in and executive produce the miniseries adaptation of Jennette McCurdy’s memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, where she will play McCurdy’s controlling mother, Debra.
Between her haircare line LolaVie and her role as Chief Creative Officer for Vital Proteins, Aniston remains one of the most prolific moguls in the industry while filming the fifth season of The Morning Show.
Do you think the ad successfully captures the nostalgic magic of 90s sitcom stars, or has the Ben Affleck and Dunkin’ partnership finally run out of steam? Share your thoughts in the comments.
