Jennifer Garner Talks About Wanting To Fight Judy Greer
Jennifer Garner is looking to bring a little more action to her latest project, and she has a specific sparring partner in mind. While promoting the highly anticipated second season of her Apple TV+ series, The Last Thing He Told Me, the 53-year-old actress admitted that she is eager to film a physical confrontation with her longtime friend and co-star, Judy Greer.
Garner joked during a recent press tour that she would love the chance to wipe the floor with her former 13 Going on 30 rival on screen. The two actresses have maintained a close bond for over two decades, but their characters in the thriller series are far from friendly.
Greer joins the cast this season as Quinn, a high-ranking member of a dangerous crime family, while Garner reprises her role as Hannah Hall. During a joint interview with Entertainment Weekly, Garner’s onscreen husband, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, teased that Garner had already been vocal about her combat wishes, even though Greer is apparently scared of the prospect.
Garner playfully acknowledged the dynamic, noting that their long history together would make a scripted brawl particularly entertaining. However, she admitted there might be a snag in the plan, as Greer jokingly threatened to call her stunt double right away if a fight scene ever appeared in the script.
Despite the talk of physical altercations, Garner was quick to clarify that it would all be in good fun, emphasizing that working with her has been a highlight of her year. The second season of the series, which serves as a sequel to the first year’s mystery, officially premieres on February 20.
The storyline picks up five years after the disappearance of Hannah’s husband, Owen, played by Coster-Waldau. As Owen suddenly reappears, Hannah and her stepdaughter, Bailey, find themselves entangled in a race against time and a ruthless crime syndicate to keep their family safe.
Away from the intense drama of the show, Garner has been reaching massive milestones in her entrepreneurial career. Her organic food brand, Once Upon a Farm, officially went public on the New York Stock Exchange earlier this month with a valuation exceeding $720 million.
This business triumph comes alongside a packed filming schedule, as she is currently in production for the Netflix comedy One Attempt Remaining, where she stars as a woman trying to recover a lost fortune in cryptocurrency. Garner has also been making headlines for her recent return to the awards circuit, appearing at the Golden Globes as a presenter for the first time in over ten years.
She continues to balance her high-energy acting roles with her dedication to family and philanthropy, frequently sharing updates on her farm life and her work with Save the Children. While she may be best known for her iconic roles in Alias and Yes Day, her current transition into producing and business is proving to be her most successful chapter yet.
