Jennifer Lawrence made a public appearance in New York on Tuesday during a live taping of Josh Horowitz’s podcast Happy, Sad, Confused. The event took place at 92NY and drew a large crowd of fans.

Lawrence appeared on stage to talk about her latest movie, Die My Love, which is now available to watch on digital platforms. She kept things simple and polished for the event, wearing a black, high-neck elegant ensemble that stood out for its clean and classic style. Her look quickly caught attention from fans and attendees at the venue.

During the conversation, the focus was on Die My Love, a psychological drama released in 2025. The film was directed by Lynne Ramsay and is based on the novel Die, My Love by Ariana Harwicz. The screenplay was written by Enda Walsh, Ramsay, and Alice Birch.

In the film, Lawrence plays Grace, a young mother living in rural Montana. Her character struggles with severe postpartum depression and psychosis, which slowly affects her marriage and her sense of reality. Robert Pattinson stars alongside her as her husband, Jackson. The cast also includes LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek.

Die My Love premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 17, where it competed for the Palme d’Or. Critics responded positively to the film, with many praising Lawrence’s performance and Ramsay’s direction. Lawrence later earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Drama.

The movie was released in U.S. theaters by Mubi on November 7. As of December 2025, it became the highest-grossing film of Ramsay’s career.
