Jennifer Lawrence is sharing the realities of life after having her second child. The “No Hard Feelings” star welcomed her second baby with husband Cooke Maroney in March, and she has been open about the changes her body has gone through.

In a recent conversation, Lawrence revealed she plans to get breast surgery in November. “I’d have to stop [vaping] in November, when I planned to get my boobs done,” she said, explaining that nicotine affects healing.

The actress admitted that after pregnancy, her body didn’t bounce back the way she had hoped, prompting her decision.

Lawrence also reflected on her years of fame and the challenges of being constantly in the spotlight. She told actress Viola Davis a few years ago, “Every time I do an interview, I think, ‘I can’t do this to myself again.’ I feel like I lose so much control over my craft when I have to do press for a movie.”

She added that the intense attention on her personality sometimes felt overwhelming. “I felt—I didn’t feel, I was, I think—rejected not for my movies, not for my politics, but for me, for my personality,” she said.

The actress discussed how her public image was both her true self and a defense mechanism. “Well, it is, or it was, my genuine personality, but it was also a defense mechanism. And so it was a defense mechanism, to just be, like, ‘I’m not like that! I poop my pants every day!’”

Lawrence also shared some lighter moments, like joking about her “snackaholic” side and discussing personal experiences from childbirth with a sense of humor. She admitted that past interviews can feel embarrassing now, saying, “Oh, no. So hyper. So embarrassing.”

Since becoming a mother for the second time, Lawrence has been balancing family life and work, and she is candid about wanting to take care of herself physically while also reflecting on her journey in the public eye.
