Meghan Markle is reportedly feeling a bit uneasy about Prince Harry’s recent attempts to build a professional friendship with Jennifer Lopez. While people close to the couple say there is absolutely nothing scandalous going on, they also mention that the Duchess of Sussex isn’t exactly comfortable with the situation. According to a report from OK! Magazine, the issue is not about anyone doing anything wrong, but rather how the whole thing feels emotionally and how it looks to the public.

Harry has apparently been reaching out to Lopez as he tries to grow his circle of famous friends in the United States. Insiders say he is very focused on finding big stars to support his charity work, especially for his veteran initiatives.

However, the same sources point out that Jennifer tends to dominate every room she walks into, and her huge star power is making Meghan feel a little compared to her, which is tough to ignore even when everything is purely professional.

Some people think Harry’s move is also a bit of a competition with his brother, Prince William. Sources claim Harry feels that Hollywood is his home turf and that getting an endorsement from someone like Jennifer Lopez would be the highest level of success he could achieve in that world. Harry and Meghan actually met Jennifer and Alex Rodriguez back in 2020 in Miami, and it seems that meeting left a big impression on the Prince.

One insider noted that Jennifer has a special way of charming just about everyone she meets, and Harry was no exception to that rule. Even though he is eager to work with her, he is reportedly being very careful because he knows it is a sensitive topic at home. Still, he feels that if he could get her to show up for an event like the Invictus Games, it would be a massive win for his cause.

When she isn’t at the center of royal gossip, Jennifer Lopez is staying incredibly busy with her own huge projects. She just started a brand-new residency in Las Vegas at the Caesars Palace Colosseum called “The Bronx to Broadway,” which kicked off right at the start of the year. She also recently celebrated the release of her movie Kiss of the Spider Woman, a big musical drama where she stars as a famous movie diva named Ingrid Luna.

Do you think Prince Harry is right to chase after big Hollywood stars to help his charities, or should he focus on more traditional ways of fundraising? Share your thoughts in the comments!
