Jessica Biel has been on a red carpet roll lately. The actress has been crisscrossing the Atlantic to promote ‘Matchbox: The Movie’, and each stop of the press tour has delivered a new fashion statement.

The run began in New York on October 5, when Biel attended the film’s premiere at AMC Lincoln Square in a Dolce & Gabbana blazer paired with a sheer black floor-length skirt and pointed satin pumps. She later switched into a gray Michael Kors suit, followed by an ivory Self-Portrait silk set for a TV appearance.

Two days later, the 44-year-old arrived in London for the film’s VIP screening at The Cinema in the Power Station, and she raised the stakes once more. On a wet October 7 evening, Biel stepped out in a black Nensi Dojaka gown filled with daring cutouts that quickly became the talk of the tour.

Biel wore the London-based designer’s Corseted Draped Maxi Dress, a strapless black column gown with a deep plunging center opening. Sculptural draped fabric wrapped across the bust, creating sharp geometric lines.

Sheer mesh paneling sat just below the bodice, while dramatic waist cutouts gave the gown a corseted effect. The long, narrow skirt hugged the hips before falling to the floor, creating a sleek, elongated silhouette.

The look was styled by the duo Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi. It fit perfectly with Dojaka’s reputation, as the label has become synonymous with architectural cutout designs. To balance the minimalist gown, Biel added a bold statement.

She wore oversized gold earrings from Schiaparelli’s Anatomic Bijoux collection, featuring surreal ear, lip and eye motifs. She skipped necklaces, bracelets, and rings, letting the earrings do all the talking.

Red Carpet Fashion Awards praised the contrast, calling the result a minimal dress with a maximalist twist. Biel pulled her hair into a high ponytail, which kept attention on the neckline. Her makeup featured a bronze eye and a nude lip.

Not everyone was fully sold. Go Fug Yourself argued the gown resembled a Rick Owens design and suggested a bolder lip could have elevated the look, though the site applauded the earrings.

Still, most fashion coverage celebrated Biel’s confidence and sharp styling choices. The plunging neckline has become something of a signature theme across her promotional looks.

Biel was joined in London by co-star John Cena and his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh. At the New York premiere earlier in the week, she was accompanied by her husband, Justin Timberlake.

The London event marked another major stop in a busy week of promotion. It also gave fans a chance to see the cast together ahead of the film’s release. Directed by Sam Hargrave, ‘Matchbox: The Movie’ follows a group of childhood friends whose long-awaited reunion spirals into chaos when they accidentally uncover an international plot. Biel and Cena lead the cast.

They are joined by Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, Teyonah Parris, Corey Stoll, Bill Camp, Golshifteh Farahani, Danai Gurira and Randeep Hooda. The action-packed adventure is based on the famous toy brand.

‘Matchbox: The Movie’ arrives on Apple TV on October 9. Its global streaming release follows a whirlwind of premieres and screenings across both sides of the Atlantic. With so many standout looks already, Biel’s press tour has become a highlight of the season. Fans will be watching closely for whatever she wears next.
