Jimmy Kimmel didn’t hold back when responding to Donald Trump’s criticism of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. On Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host addressed the president’s harsh comments.

β€œBad Bunny got a bad review from our bad president, unfortunately,” Kimmel said. Trump had called the performance β€œabsolutely terrible” and claimed it was an β€œaffront to the greatness of America,” criticizing the music and dancing as inappropriate for children.

Kimmel fired back by reminding viewers of Trump’s own controversial history, adding, β€œThis is a man who paid off a p*** star who spanked him with his own face on a magazine.”

The host also mocked Turning Point USA’s competing β€œAll American Halftime Show,” joking that the conservative group’s version could have been called β€œthe Kristi Noem Shoots-Her-Puppy Bowl.”

He criticized conservatives for often complaining about entertainment while producing even worse content themselves. β€œAnd not only do they do it worse, they do it in jorts,” Kimmel added, poking fun at the casual attire of some TPUSA performers. He noted that Fox News praised the show, and TPUSA appeared happy with it too.

Kimmel also teased TPUSA’s plans for a future halftime show. A representative told Fox News they intend to host another event next year, and Kimmel joked, β€œNext year it will be Lara Trump with a Ted Nguyen cover band. They’ve got to do it for the country.”

The segment combined political commentary with humor, showing Kimmel’s signature style of calling out public figures and organizations while blending satire and personal jabs.

Kimmel’s response shows how political and entertainment worlds collide in today’s media. He didn’t hold back, and it makes you wonder how much of these arguments influence public opinion versus just entertaining viewers.
