Jonas Brothers Reportedly Kick Off Filming for Disney’s Long-Awaited Movie in Vancouver
Fans in Vancouver had an unexpected treat this week when the Jonas Brothers were spotted filming scenes for a new Disney movie.
Nick, Joe, and Kevin were seen on set at Barnet Marine Park in Burnaby, just days before performing their big concert at Rogers Arena.

According to Daily Hive, photos and videos from the location show the brothers shooting for Camp Rock 3. The set included a giant “Camp Rock” sign, canoes and kayaks by the lake, a classic car, and plenty of extras.
A notice at the park listed the production under the working title Rock the Boat, with Creative BC confirming that filming is scheduled to run until October 28.
The long-rumored Camp Rock 3 appears to be in full production, although Disney has not made an official announcement.
Demi Lovato, who starred in the original two films, recently spoke about the possibility of returning. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on September 16, she said, “Is Camp Rock 3 happening? I saw that Joe said something and I’m really excited for the new generation to take the lead. You’ll just have to wait and see.”
Speculation started earlier this year when Joe Jonas revealed during an interview on Hot Ones that he had “Read Camp Rock 3” written in his notes app, joking “Sorry, Disney” as his brothers reacted in shock.
The first Camp Rock debuted on Disney Channel in 2008 and was watched by nearly 9 million viewers, becoming one of the most popular Disney Channel Original Movies at the time. Its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, was released in 2010.
The movies launched the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato into worldwide stardom, and fans have been asking for a third film ever since.
Lovato also reunited with the Jonas Brothers in 2022 to perform hits from the franchise, including “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” sparking even more buzz about a new movie.
She said of that performance, “It was so much fun to perform with them. I had a blast. The reception was great. It was so nostalgic for so many people, including myself.”
With filming now underway in Vancouver, fans may finally be getting the long-awaited sequel.
