Jonathan Majors provided a rare, vulnerable look into his personal journey during a tearful television appearance this week, crediting his wife, Meagan Good, with being the foundation of his resilience.

Speaking on the Tuesday, February 17, episode of the BET series For The Fellas, the 36-year-old actor became visibly emotional when discussing how Good supported him during the most turbulent period of his life. Majors described her presence as the vital force that allowed him to remain upright throughout his high-profile legal battle and subsequent career fallout.

During the interview, Majors frequently paused to wipe away tears, expressing that Good shows up for him in every way he could require. He offered his wife immense praise, telling the hosts that she had become his everything and was the person who consistently built him back up when he felt he had hit his lowest point.

This public display of gratitude comes nearly a year after the couple’s private wedding ceremony, which took place in March 2025 and was officiated by the actor’s mother. The couple’s relationship began in May 2023, just months after Majors was arrested following a domestic dispute with a former girlfriend.

Throughout the ensuing trial—which eventually saw him found guilty of misdemeanor third-degree assault and second-degree harassment—Good remained a constant fixture by his side in the courtroom. While Majors avoided prison time, he was sentenced to a year-long domestic violence intervention program, which he successfully completed in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Beyond his personal reflections, Majors also addressed recent viral moments, including a previous theological disagreement with rapper NLE Choppa. He clarified that a perceived “beef” between the two was nonexistent from his perspective, noting that his wife had informed him of the rapper’s past comments.

Majors maintained a protective but calm stance, stating that because he married her, he has no reason to worry about outside opinions or hostility from others in the industry. As he moves further into the year, Majors is focused on a professional comeback following his dismissal from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

His highly anticipated bodybuilding drama, Magazine Dreams, finally saw a wide theatrical release in March 2025 through Briarcliff Entertainment after being shelved for nearly two years. He has also been linked to several new projects, including the action-packed True Threat and the revenge thriller Merciless, directed by Martin Villeneuve, both of which are currently in development.

Meagan Good has been equally busy, navigating a prolific year that includes her starring role and executive producer credit on the Lifetime thriller I’ll Never Let You Go. The couple recently made headlines for a personal milestone as well, having officially acquired Guinean citizenship after tracing their ancestral roots back to the West African nation.

Despite the intense public scrutiny that has followed them since 2023, the couple remains committed to their “faith-based union,” as described during a recent appearance on The Tamron Hall Show.

Majors’ mother, Terri Anderson-Watson, who serves as both a pastor and therapist, has been a central figure in their marriage, guiding them through premarital counseling. As Majors continues to rebuild his image and career, it is clear that his partnership with Good remains his most significant priority.
