The animated series ‘Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’ has kept us on the edge of our seats with its thrilling dinosaur adventures. It’s a direct follow-up to ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous,’ picking up six years later with the Nublar Six facing a world where dinosaurs roam free. The show landed on Netflix with its first season in May 2024, followed by a second in October. Now, after that wild cliffhanger in season two, we’ve all been wondering what’s next.

Good news came straight from Scott Kreamer, one of the minds behind the show. In a chat with ComicBookMovie.com, he confirmed that season three is happening. That’s right, the Nublar Six aren’t done yet. Kreamer, who runs the series alongside Aaron Hammersley, shared this update in a long talk about the project. The pair also worked on ‘Camp Cretaceous,’ which ran for five seasons, so they know how to keep these dinosaur tales roaring.

‘Chaos Theory’ takes place between the movies ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ and ‘Jurassic World: Dominion.’ It follows Darius, Ben, Sammy, Yaz, Kenji, and Brooklynn as they tackle a dangerous conspiracy tied to dinosaur smuggling. Voices like Paul-Mikél Williams, Sean Giambrone, and Raini Rodriguez bring these characters to life, with new additions like Darren Barnet joining the mix. The second season left us hanging, especially with Brooklynn’s shocking move to side with the shady Soyona Santos, a villain from ‘Dominion’ played by Dichen Lachman.

Kreamer didn’t spill too many details, but he made it clear the story continues. The third season, set to drop on April 3, 2025, will dive deeper into Brooklynn’s choices and the team’s fight against Santos. I’m excited to see how they wrap up this arc, especially since the show ties into the bigger Jurassic world. The next film, ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth,’ hits theaters in July 2025 with stars like Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey, so the timing feels perfect for more animated action beforehand.

The team behind the scenes has some heavy hitters too. Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall are executive producers, just like they were for ‘Camp Cretaceous.’ That connection keeps the show feeling true to the movies. With ten episodes coming, each around 22 minutes, we’re in for another fast-paced ride. Places like Senegal, Malta, and Italy might pop up, adding fresh scenery to the chaos.

I can’t wait to see what happens next. The Nublar Six have grown up since their camp days, and now they’re facing bigger stakes. Will Brooklynn turn back to her friends? Can they stop Santos and her dinosaur cloning schemes? Kreamer’s confirmation has me counting the days until April. It’s a big year for Jurassic fans, and ‘Chaos Theory’ is keeping the excitement alive.
