Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest chapter in the iconic dinosaur franchise, arrives in theaters on July 2, 2025. The production began in January 2024, with filming spanning June to September in Thailand, Malta, and the UK. Koepp, who wrote the original Jurassic Park and The Lost World, returned despite initial reluctance. Industrial Light & Magic crafted the visual effects, blending CGI with practical effects for realism. Lightweight animatronics, like those for the small dinosaur Aquilops, used 3D-printed parts to allow close actor interactions.

The story centers on the team’s quest to secure rare dinosaur biomaterials with potential medical breakthroughs, all while navigating the dangers of the island’s mutated inhabitants.
