Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing drama has taken a shocking turn with newly released court documents. According to Us Weekly, these filings show private texts and emails between Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, Matt Damon, and Damon’s wife Luciana Barroso. The messages reveal intense behind-the-scenes tension during the making of It Ends With Us.

One of the most alarming messages comes from Reynolds. He claimed Baldoni asked their trainer about Lively’s weight shortly after she had given birth. “Several weeks before shooting, and right after Blake had given birth to our son … this guy called our trainer, Don and asked ‘how much do you think Blake will weigh in two weeks?’” Reynolds wrote in a May 17, 2024 message.

Reynolds said the trainer didn’t take it well. “Don, got very Long Island all of a sudden and Justin backtracked,” he added. Baldoni reportedly tried to explain the question by mentioning his own physical limits. “He said, ‘I’m only asking because I have to carry her in a scene. And I have low bone density’,” the message said. Luciana Barroso responded angrily, writing, “Sorry but what the actual f***?!? he’s dead.”

The documents also reveal Baldoni allegedly made strange comments about Lively’s late father, Ernie Lively. Blake wrote to the group, “He also told me last year that he speaks to my father often. He hopes I don’t mind. My father died 3 years ago.” Barroso responded by calling Baldoni a “creep” and joking that they “should make a movie about this guy.”

Matt Damon offered support to Lively and her husband. “We’ll give you any help we can,” he wrote, and even joked about his production company, adding, “And if this experience hasn’t totally destroyed your soul, Blake, you should come direct your next movie at Artists Equity. We’re kind of like a cult but a really nice one.”

Lively also reached out to Ben Affleck for advice. In an email, she asked him to watch her cut of the film with a “zero pressure ask” for feedback. She thanked him for being part of her support system, writing, “Ryan asked Matt to watch also so I think he’s watching this weekend. Good men showing up. I’m beyond grateful for that.” She even joked, “Also. can you believe Jason Bourne is watching my movie!?!?! I’ll get you an autograph one day. Don’t worry.”

The documents show even Taylor Swift weighed in on the drama, reportedly calling Baldoni a “b****” in a text message.
