OH YEAH! Sorry for the enthusiasm, but a huge Agatha fan is writing this. You read it right! The villainess of the WandaVision show, the witch Agatha Harkness, portrayed by Kathryn Hahn will return in her own spin-off show on Disney+. This will be the second time (after Loki) that MCU will have a project centered around the villainous character (although most fans don’t even consider Loki as the villain).
Kathryn Hahn‘s performance on WandaVision was widely praised by fans, and her signature song ”Agatha All Along” became so popular that it even broke records on Spotify, and its authors Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez were nominated for Primetime Emmy!
The story of WandaVision will continue on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch will be a special guest star. At the end of WandaVision, Wanda imprisoned Agatha as the regular lady in the town of Westview as her punishment. President of Marvel Kevin Feige said that Hahn will surely return as Agatha eventually, but not even the most optimistic fans could expect it would be her own spin-off show!
Currently, untitled, Agatha-centered show on Disney+ is in early development. The next Marvel Disney+ show will be Hawkeye, which will premiere in November this year.
