Kathryn Newton Seduces the Red Carpet in Fiery Velvet, Flaunting Every Curve at ‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ Premiere
Kathryn Newton commanded the red carpet at the Rome premiere of her latest thriller, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, held at Casina Valadier on March 23. The 29-year-old actress embraced a bold, head-to-toe red look that showcased her curves and confident presence.
She wore the Pualo dress from The New Arrivals, a red velvet gown with a fitted bodice and slightly scooped neckline. The rich velvet added depth to the vibrant color, while the sleek silhouette kept the focus on the striking crimson tone.
Newton paired the dress with matching red hosiery and Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps. Her accessories followed the same palette, including a red “Sierra” clutch by Ahikoza and delicate diamond rings from Grown Brilliance. A red lip and softly glamorous makeup completed the ensemble.

Newton has been busy with a string of successful horror and genre projects, including Abigail and Lisa Frankenstein. In Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, she plays Faith MacCaullay, the estranged sister of Samara Weaving’s character, Grace, who is pulled into a terrifying new ritual. Newton said “I was screaming and crying and rolling on the floor because they wrote it for me.” She added that directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett personally invited her to join the sequel after working with her on Abigail.
The movie’s cast also includes returning star Samara Weaving, alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, and David Cronenberg in major new roles. Newton and Weaving’s on-screen chemistry has drawn attention, with fans noting their strong resemblance as sisters. Newton said, “I really did just wanna be around her all the time, and I ended up copying her in so many different things.”
