Kim Kardashian Reveals Kanye Accused Her of Faking Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian has opened up about one of the most painful moments in her relationship with Kanye West, saying he once suggested that she made up her 2016 Paris robbery.

She talked about it in the newest episode of The Kardashians, where she became emotional while explaining how deeply his comment hurt her.

Kim said in the episode that Kanye made the remark in front of others. She recalled him saying, “And you faked your robbery for a TV show.” She explained how shocked she felt hearing that from someone who knew her so well.

According to Kim, it felt like a direct hit, and she added that the idea that someone close to her would doubt her was extremely painful. In her confessional, she said it felt like “a knife to my heart.”

This comes after Kim returned to Paris earlier this year to testify in the trial connected to the robbery. Nearly a decade has passed since the incident, and the case finally moved forward in 2025.

Kim told viewers that speaking in court helped her process what happened. She said facing the people involved and hearing their statements confirmed everything she had always said. As she put it, “See, guys. It was real.”

The robbery happened during Paris Fashion Week in October 2016. Armed men entered the private residence where she was staying and held her at gunpoint. They took valuable jewelry and left her shaken but physically unharmed.

The case drew worldwide attention, and doubts from critics at the time added even more stress. Because of that, Kim pushed back against claims that the robbery had been staged. She even filed legal action during the early days of the investigation to challenge what she believed were false reports.

Police in France made several arrests over the years. The suspects were mostly older men, which led to the nickname “the Grandpa Robbers.” This year, Kim appeared in court for the long-delayed trial. Ten defendants faced charges, and eight were ultimately convicted.

Kim said she refuses to let the terrifying minutes of that night define her life. She shared on the show that she will not allow fear from that moment to control her future, explaining that she won’t let such a short period of panic take over everything else.
