Kim Kardashian Says the 1969 Moon Landing Was Fake: “Go to TikTok. See For Yourself”
Kim Kardashian is once again making headlines with a bold claim about one of history’s most famous events.
On the October 30 episode of the Hulu series The Kardashians, the reality star told her costar Sarah Paulson that she doesn’t believe the 1969 moon landing actually happened. She also tried to convince Paulson to share her doubts.
Kim, 45, explained that she has been sending Paulson “a million articles” about astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong. “This girl says, ‘What was the scariest moment?’ And [Aldrin] goes, ‘There was no scary moment, cause it didn’t happen. It could’ve been scary, but it wasn’t, cause it didn’t happen,’” Kim recounted.
She added that Aldrin has “gotten old” and sometimes makes comments like that, which has strengthened her belief. “So I think it didn’t happen,” she admitted on the show.
Paulson said she planned to do a “massive deep dive” into the material Kim sent her, while Kim revealed in a confessional that she frequently sends the actress conspiracy theories. Later, a producer asked Kim directly if she believes astronauts really walked on the moon. Her answer was clear: “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake.”
Kim shared the reasons behind her doubts, including the movement of the flag, the footprints of astronauts’ shoes, and the lack of stars in the photos. “Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon — why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon [have] a different [foot]print than the photos. Why are there no stars?” she questioned.
When asked how she responds to critics who call her crazy, Kim shrugged it off: “They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok. See for yourself.”
While everyone is entitled to their own views, the moon landing has been confirmed by decades of evidence and scientific verification. Kim’s claim is sure to stir debate, but it’s important to look at facts. What do you think about her statement? Share your thoughts in the comments.
