‘Kite Man: Hell Yeah!’ Outshines the Entire DCEU in Audience and Critics Ratings

“Kite Man: Hell Yeah!” (originally announced as “Noonan’s”) is a spin-off of the adult animated series “Harley Quinn.” Announced on March 11, 2022, it premiered on Max on July 18, 2024. The first season consists of 10 episodes and will conclude on September 12, 2024.

Kite Man is a recurring character on “Harley Quinn.” He is a supervillain who specializes in kites, the ex-fiancé of Poison Ivy, and the current boyfriend of Golden Glider.

When the show was announced, fans were skeptical about giving such an insignificant character his own spinoff. However, “Kite Man: Hell Yeah!” has managed to surprise everyone, boasting high approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoes—currently at 91% from critics and 100% from audiences.

It’s important to note that these scores might change as more reviews come in, considering only three episodes have aired so far and the viewership is still limited.

Nevertheless, fans have found humor in the fact that this “irrelevant” spinoff has better ratings than the entire DCEU, particularly compared to the cinematic universe’s major films like “Batman V Superman” and “Justice League.”

The show and the DCEU aren’t really comparable, so it all boils down to a lighthearted joke.

The next episode of “Kite Man: Hell Yeah!” premieres on August 1. What do you think of the show so far? Let us know in the comments below!
