The official website of Komi Can’t Communicate revealed the release date of the upcoming sequel, a new key visual was released along with the theme song and info about the cast. The sequel will air on April 6th.

The website also revealed the opening song for the sequel “Ao 100 Shoku” which will be sung by Miku Ito and the Fantastic Youth will be singing the ending song “Koshiberi Biyori.”
The announcement also revealed a new cast member by the name of Makoto Katai who will be voiced by Shinichiro Kamio, his character description is described as:
Is Katai-kun a hardliner? He has a profound personality and is not good at talking to people and acting from himself. It was a withdrawal, but I trained my body, dyed my hair, and change my appearance during the summer vacation. However, it seems to be bad from the surroundings because of that.
The first season of Komi can’t communicate began airing in the Fall of 2021 with a total of 12 episodes. The series was directed by Kazuki Kawagoe and Watanabe Ayumu served as the chief director. The series was animated by Studio OLM. The official manga series is created by Tomohiko Oda in May 2016, it currently has over 24 volumes in circulation.
