The latest episode of South Park went full throttle with its sharp satire, targeting big names like Donald Trump, ICE raids, Vice President JD Vance, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Known for its edgy and no-holds-barred humor, the show didn’t hold back this time.

One of the most talked-about moments featured Kristi Noem’s character explaining how she put her puppy down by sh***** it in the face. She described it as a tough but necessary choice.

Throughout the episode, Noem was seen sh***** multiple puppies, in the streets, in heaven, and even while taking a bath. Wearing a bulletproof vest, Noem gave a video speech to new ICE recruits, which included the recently laid-off South Park teacher, Mr. Mackey.

Near the end, she said, “together we will make sure everyone is in this country legally.” Things took a wild turn when ICE raids didn’t just target people on Earth but also went after Dora the Explorer and even Heaven itself. Noem coldly added, “if it’s Brown, it goes down.”

Kristi Noem responded to the episode in an interview on The Glenn Beck Program podcast. She said, “It’s so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. It’s only the liberals and the extremists who do that.”

She went on, “If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t. They just pick something petty like that.” However, she didn’t mention anything about the scenes where her character shoots puppies. Instead, she focused only on the jokes about her using Botox, which is odd considering how much attention the puppy scenes got.

South Park mocked Kristi Noem for shooting dogs because of a real-life story she shared in her book No Going Back. In it, Noem talks about killing her dog, Cricket, and a male goat because they were aggressive and untrainable. She also has suggested that one of President Biden’s dogs, Commander, deserved the same fate after biting Secret Service agents. Commander no longer lives at the White House.

Besides Noem, the episode also mocked President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, showing them in a bizarre threesome with Satan. Vance even joked about it on X, saying, “Well, I’ve finally made it.”

This episode, titled “Got a Nut,” aired just two weeks after the delayed Season 27 premiere, which also took shots at Trump. That earlier episode showed Trump looking unimpressive, sharing a bed with Satan and wandering the desert naked. It poked fun at current politics and the big payment Paramount made to Trump.

The White House was reportedly not happy about the show. A spokesperson named Taylor Rogers told reporters, “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.” Rogers added, “President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history – and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”

South Park didn’t just let that slide. When ICE posted a sneak peek image of the episode on its social media, South Park’s official account fired back with, “Wait, so we ARE relevant?” and even added a hashtag to drive the point home.

This episode shows once again that South Park isn’t afraid to go after powerful people and touch on hot topics. Even in its 27th season, the show keeps its bold, unapologetic style alive.
