Krysten Ritter (44) Slips Back Into Jessica Jones’ Legendary Leather Jacket
New York’s Hell’s Kitchen just got a familiar visitor back. Krysten Ritter is stepping into the role of Jessica Jones once again for Season 2 of Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, bringing the hard-drinking, super-powered detective back to the streets fans have loved for years.
One of the standout features of her return is the character’s signature black leather jacket.
Ritter shared a behind-the-scenes look at the costume, revealing that she kept her original jacket from the Netflix Marvel series and worked with the costume designer on a new version to keep the look consistent. The jacket itself is a classic motorcycle style with worn, textured black leather, wide lapels, and silver zippers that give it a tough, edgy vibe. It’s paired with distressed jeans and heavy combat boots, completing Jessica’s grounded, street-level hero look. The outfit represents her reluctance to be a hero, acting more as protective armor than a costume.
Ritter’s return is an exciting moment for the Marvel franchise, reintroducing a fan-favorite character to a new generation.
