Kylie Jenner is reportedly feeling uneasy as attention surrounding her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, continues to grow throughout the awards season. While the actor’s rising momentum has brought a wave of public appearances and industry buzz, insiders claim that tensions may be building behind the scenes.

According to sources, Jenner is struggling with the perceived closeness between Chalamet and his recent co-star, Gwyneth Paltrow. According to a RadarOnline source, Jenner is allegedly uncomfortable with how openly Paltrow has praised Chalamet following their collaboration on the ping-pong dramedy Marty Supreme.

The insider claimed that Paltrow has been gushing to everyone about what a talent Timothee is after filming several intimate scenes together. They added that Kylie is not taking it well at all as the veteran actress continues to voice her admiration. The source further alleged that Jenner believes this public admiration may be crossing a personal boundary.

She’s convinced Gwyneth is crushing on Timothee and crossing the line, the insider said, noting that Jenner finds the behavior disrespectful. The reported discomfort stems from the pair’s on-screen chemistry, which was a major talking point during the film’s promotional tour and several high-profile press events.

Paltrow herself has spoken quite positively about her experience working with Chalamet. The 53-year-old Oscar winner previously described him as so easy to work with and praised his professionalism and confidence on set.

She also admitted she initially worried their age difference might make filming weird, but she later clarified that the experience wasn’t that weird once they got into the rhythm of the scenes. Despite the alleged tension, Chalamet made sure to publicly show his support for Jenner during the awards circuit.

While accepting a Best Actor award at the Critics’ Choice Awards for his role as Marty Mauser, he gave her a sweet shout-out, thanking her for being his foundation over the last three years. Still, a source claimed that Jenner would prefer him to put Gwyneth in her place to stop the public flattery.

At the same time, another insider alleged that Chalamet taking such a stand would be highly unlikely given Paltrow’s legendary stature in Hollywood. It would be a disaster for his career to alienate her, the source added, noting that Paltrow is essentially industry royalty.

Furthermore, the source claimed that Chalamet really likes her and all the attention she’s giving him, finding the praise from a seasoned professional to be incredibly flattering. Timothée Chalamet has been exceptionally busy lately, recently wrapping up his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown and currently riding the success of Marty Supreme.

Looking ahead, he is set to return to the desert for the highly anticipated Dune: Part Three, which is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on December 18. The film will see him reprise his role as Paul Atreides alongside Zendaya and Florence Pugh, with director Denis Villeneuve returning to conclude the epic trilogy.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s role in Marty Supreme marked a significant return to acting for the Goop mogul, who plays a former movie star named Kay Stone in the Josh Safdie-directed film.

The movie itself is a 1950s-set story about the life of ping-pong champion Marty Reisman and features a diverse cast including Tyler, the Creator, and Odessa A’zion. Chalamet also serves as a producer on the project, further cementing his move into behind-the-scenes leadership within the film industry.
