On Thursday, January 22, it was official: Timothée Chalamet earned his third Best Actor nomination for his role in Marty Supreme. At just 30, he became the youngest male actor ever to receive three Best Actor nods, surpassing legends like Marlon Brando. His previous nominations were for Call Me By Your Name and A Complete Unknown.

If he wins this year, Chalamet would be the second-youngest actor ever to take home the Oscar, behind Adrien Brody, who won at 29 for The Pianist. On top of that, he also picked up a Best Picture nomination as a producer on Marty Supreme.

Marty Supreme tells a fictionalized version of table tennis star Marty Reisman’s life and has become a favorite of critics and awards voters.
