An awkward moment unfolded at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards involving Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s “Marty Supreme” co-star Odessa A’zion. The incident occurred Sunday night in Los Angeles during the star-studded ceremony.

According to footage shared widely online, A’zion, 25, approached Chalamet at his table, where Jenner, 28, was seated next to him. The actress bent down to give Chalamet an air kiss and side hug. Jenner leaned in as if to greet A’zion next, offering her cheek for an air kiss. Instead, A’zion pulled away and walked off, leaving Jenner momentarily surprised and visibly uncomfortable.

The moment quickly went viral, sparking discussion on social media. Despite the awkward exchange, sources say there appears to be no tension between the two women. Jenner and A’zion were later seen interacting warmly, sitting together and posing for photos throughout the evening.

Chalamet, 30, went on to win the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in “Marty Supreme.” Before accepting the award, he kissed Jenner on the lips and then walked to the stage.

During his speech, he said, “To my parents and my partner, I love you. Thank you so much.” Cameras captured Jenner and A’zion clapping and sharing a hug after the speech, with Jenner smiling and saying, “I’m so happy.”

This marked the third Golden Globes Jenner attended with Chalamet, following appearances in 2024 and 2025. The couple, who have been together since April 2023, were also recently seen together at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards, where Chalamet publicly acknowledged Jenner as his “partner of three years” for the first time. During that ceremony, he added, “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Jenner responded from her seat, mouthing, “I love you.”

Despite the brief red-carpet awkwardness, the couple appeared affectionate and supportive of each other throughout the Golden Globes, showing that their relationship remains strong in the public eye.
