‘Landman’ Season 2 Trailer Ignites with Sam Elliott & Demi Moore’s Explosive Rivalries
The hit drama Landman is coming back this fall, and the new trailer shows that season two will be even more intense. Paramount+ announced that the show will return on Sunday, November 16, 2025, with new episodes every week.
Season one ended with the shocking death of Monty Miller, played by Jon Hamm. His death left Billy Bob Thornton’s character, Tommy Norris, to deal with the mess and the power that came with it.
Now, the new season introduces Demi Moore as Cami, Monty’s widow, who isn’t planning to sit quietly on the sidelines. In the trailer, she tells investors, “The only difference between me and my husband is I’m meaner.” Tommy answers back with his own bold line, “She owns the company, but I run it.” That back-and-forth sets up the explosive conflict between the two.

The teaser also confirms that Sam Elliott has joined the cast. Elliott, who worked with creator Taylor Sheridan before in 1883, plays a major new role this season.
He joins returning cast members Ali Larter as Angela, Michelle Randolph as Ainsley, and Jacob Lofland. Angela is shown reconnecting with Tommy, while Ainsley’s plans to leave for college bring a personal struggle to the Norris family.
Ali Larter told fans that season two will be “a rollercoaster,” saying the show will mix family struggles with bigger outside threats. One of those threats is Tommy’s risky new partnership with a cartel leader played by Andy Garcia.
The trailer shows glimpses of violence not just in the oil fields but also in the boardrooms, keeping the same high-energy drama that the first season was known for.
Landman was created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace and is based on the Boomtown podcast. Sheridan is also one of the executive producers along with David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and others.
The show is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions, and it will be released worldwide by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
With Demi Moore stepping into a powerful role, Sam Elliott entering the story, and Billy Bob Thornton facing both family drama and cartel pressure, Landman season two looks ready to dive deeper into power, betrayal, and survival. The new season premieres November 16 only on Paramount+.
