Latest TV Ratings Reveal Top 10 Shows to Dominate Streaming

Streaming numbers for the week of April 21–27 are in, and one major Netflix thriller has claimed the top spot once again. With billions of minutes watched, this final season made a powerful return, easily beating out the competition.
Several other fan favorites, including a Star Wars series and a post-apocalyptic drama, also saw big jumps in viewership. Below is a full list of the week’s most-watched shows and movies in the U.S., based on Nielsen’s latest streaming rankings.
10. Andor (721M minutes)
Andor reached a new high with 721 million minutes watched according to Nielsen. That number includes the three new episodes that came out on April 22, which made up about 469 million minutes. The rest of the watch time came from fans rewatching or catching up on season one.
9. Young Sheldon (724M minutes)
Young Sheldon made it to Nielsen’s top 10 with Episode 9. The show was watched 724 million minutes, proving once again why it gets renewed year after year.
8. Black Mirror (734M minutes)
Black Mirror, which was No. 1 the week before, dropped by more than 50% and had 734 million minutes of viewing. It landed at No. 8 on the overall chart.
7. NCIS (788M minutes)
NCIS was the 7th most-watched show across all streaming services that week, accumulating 788 million minutes. NCIS remained a popular binge-watch choice, helped by its large episode library and wide availability across major platforms.
6. Havoc (813M minutes)
One movie managed to land a spot in the streaming Top 10 for the week. Netflix’s Havoc starring Tom Hardy led the pack with 813 million minutes.
5. Grey’s Anatomy (850M minutes)
Grey’s Anatomy was the 5th most-watched show across all streaming platforms that week. It continues to be a very popular series to binge, thanks to its long episode count and availability on both Netflix and Hulu.
4. Bluey (862M minutes)
Over the past several months, Bluey has consistently ranked among the top 10 most-streamed shows in the U.S. The show’s popularity has been bolstered by the release of new episodes and specials.
Bluey continues to maintain a strong presence in Nielsen’s top streaming rankings, reflecting its enduring popularity and the anticipation for future content, including a feature film slated for release in 2027.
3. The Last Of Us (937M minutes)
HBO’s The Last of Us (streaming on Max) had 937 million minutes viewed. That’s a 16% increase from the week before. The show was the most-watched acquired series of the week and is now slightly ahead of where it was at this point in season one.
2. Ransom Canyon (1.293B minutes)
Ransom Canyon was the second most-watched show in the U.S., with viewers streaming a total of 1.293 billion minutes across its 10 episodes on Netflix.
The series, which premiered on April 17, 2025, is a romantic Western drama based on Jodi Thomas’s novels. It stars Josh Duhamel as Staten Kirkland and Minka Kelly as Quinn O’Grady, focusing on the intertwined lives of three ranching families in Texas. The show’s appeal lies in its blend of romance, family drama, and Western themes.
1. You (1.672B minutes)
The Netflix series You is back on top. The thriller, starring Penn Badgley, reached the No. 1 spot on the Nielsen streaming charts after the release of its fifth and final season on April 24.
For the week of April 21–27, You was watched for 1.67 billion minutes. That’s just a little less than the 1.73 billion minutes the show got during the premiere week of season four in February 2023. It was still far ahead of the second-place title for the week, Netflix’s Ransom Canyon.
